Santa is not happy with a few Athletes/Coaches/Organizations because they are Behaving Badly – The Steelers suspended their 3rd string running back, Mendenhall. He will not play in the game Sunday at Dallas. Mendenhall was suspended for conduct detrimental to the team. Hmmmm, when people say he did something that was “detrimental to the team”, what does that mean exactly? I need more information here. I mean….did he participate in a pay-to-injure program, or have stick ‘em on his hands, or tape other teams or leak plays to the opposing team? Now, I am curious. Side eye look here. Nonetheless, he is on the Naughty List; Cowboys’ Jay Ratliff and owner Jerry Jones get into an intense argument. Jones apparently walked up to an injured Ratliff and said, “We need you!” An argument pursued afterwards. Ummmm, I can understand an argument with Jerry Jones, if he said pack your bags and get out. However, the man said, “We need you!” I guess it would have been better if he told the $40 million man that the team didn’t need him. Ratliff is definitely getting a stocking full of coal and a pink slip; Manny Pacquiao camp decided to slap and kick a photographer after he lost the match on Saturday. Ummmm, maybe they should have jumped in and helped Pacquiao, because Marquez’s slap to his face knocked Pac out. They are definitely being on Santa’s Naughty List; so the Baltimore Ravens fire their offensive coordinator, but wasn’t it the defense that allowed the Steelers and Redskins to go down the field and score to beat them each time? Hmmmm, I was always told, “offense sells tickets, but defense wins games!” I guess the Ravens didn’t get that memo; someone please give T.O. a job in a hurry. This year he was released by the Seahawks, begged for a job with the Jets (I know he is happy he didn’t get that one now), and now asked the LA Clippers to hire him, because he wants to play basketball. Please, I am begging anyone out there to give this man a job. I can’t take anymore. This is really sad; the Saints are happy this morning because the ex-NFL Commish, Paul Tagliabue reversed the bounty scandal suspension. While this is good news for the team, Tagliabue said the players were still wrong to participate in a pay-to-injure program. Therefore, what he is saying is that you did have a bounty program, but you did not deserve the harsh suspensions. Interesting.
