A few things here…what took Ryan so long to make this decision? He should get a pink slip as a Christmas gift! The Jets win came when McElroy was in the game. Seems like a no brainer to me. Then poor Tebow is not having a great holiday season – he was overlooked for the starting position even though he is healthy, then his girlfriend dumps him. I am so happy we have a justice system that base guilt on evidence rather than hear say. Unless I am missing something, this is shady. Now, a Denver school made a child remove his Peyton Manning jersey because of the number. They said the number somehow related to a gang. Ummm, should Manning change his number? I mean, he doesn’t want to be associated with gangs, look at what happen to Serena when she did a dance named after a gang; then the athletic board decided that a California team has to change its jersey because the stripes are too long. Well they have been long since 1962, so why are you complaining now? This has to stop; sad to hear that Andy Roddick has retires after losing at the US Open. I wonder if Federer is next, since he loss yesterday too; I forgot Lebron wasn’t the only person to leave Cleveland and became a villain. Athletes/Principals/School Systems/Organizations Behaving Badly – This should be the happiest time of the year for children and parents, especially children who are starting kindergarten. However, it turned into a nightmare for a five-year-old student in Oklahoma, who wore a Michigan Wolverine shirt and was forced to turn his shirt inside out, because the school only supports in state schools. This is wrong on so many levels. I don’t know if I am more upset that the principal had nothing better to do with his time than to demand that a 5 year old remove his shirt, or that the school system only allows students to wear in state college shirts; the Augusta National Golf Club, home of the Masters finally announced that it would (for the first time ever) allow women into the exclusive club. While many may view this as a huge accomplishment, I am upset that it took this long for them to come to this decision, and they only picked two. With more and more women starting to engage in sports activities, I am not sure why more people are not outraged; the Yankees’ pitcher, Michael Pineda was charged with DUI. Have these athletes not learned that they are not above the law and that they can seriously hurt someone driving while intoxicated? This has to stop; first, the Saints are penalized for their bounty scandal, now a video showing Jason Pierre Paul dumping a rookie into a cold tub after a game was released. Do you think hazing is worthy of penalties? Anyhoo, what coach leaves his starting QB in a preseason game, subjecting him to injury? The Eagles, Andy Reid that’s who. What was he thinking? If he keeps this up, Vick will not be ready for the beginning of the REAL season. The Patriots didn’t think about putting “Pretty Boy” Brady in the game. Reid may be a contender this week.
